Sanctification
Every Christian should be growing in a personal relationship with Jesus, continually increasing in the knowledge of Him and being transformed into His image. (Hebrews 12:14; 1 Thessalonians 5:23; 2 Peter 3:18; 2 Corinthians 3:18; Philippians 3:12-14; 1 Corinthians 1:30, 31)
Hebrews 12:14
14 Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord:
1 Thessalonians 5:23
23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
2 Peter 3:18
18 but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.
2 Corinthians 3:18
18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
Philippians 3:12-14
12 Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.
13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead,
14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
1 Corinthians 1:30, 31
30 But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God -- and righteousness and sanctification and redemption --
31 that, as it is written, "He who glories, let him glory in the LORD."
